Aaron Whitmore
Aaron Whitmore is the son of two public school educators. He attended public high school in Concord, NH, then Colby College. During his time at Colby, he worked in the Admission Office, was elected captain of the football team, and spent a semester studying abroad at the University of New South Wales in Australia. He graduated from Colby with a B.A. in Human Development. Aaron has his M.A. in Educational Leadership from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. After jobs in sales, marketing, and recruiting, Aaron found his home in education, working in the Admission Offices at Kent School and Milton Academy. Aaron moved to the Bay Area to lead the Admission and Financial Aid Office at Crystal Springs Uplands School, a 6-12 day school in Belmont and Hillsborough, California. While at Crystal, Aaron served on the Bay Area Admission Directors Steering Committee for more than ten years. Aaron has 21 years of admission experience at independent schools, including rural and suburban, day and boarding, and large and small schools. In those 21 years, Aaron has reviewed more than 7,000 applications! He loves to play pickup basketball, travel, and spend time outside with his family. Aaron is excited to help families navigate the PS-12 admission process while making it a happy, holistic process of exploration.
Betsy Little
Betsy Little graduated from Dana Hall School, and holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University, an MBA in Finance from LaSalle University, and an MA in Special Education from San Francisco State University. She has worked as an international banker, realtor, movie rater, and at several independent and secondary schools in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Previous positions include: Director of Admission, Director of Financial Aid Endowment, Director of Development and as an Independent School Consultant. She is a former member of the Bay Area Directors of Admission. Betsy also brings 20 years of developmental screening assessment experience to the partnership. In addition, Betsy sits on the Board of Trustees and the Development Committee of De Marillac Academy, a tuition free school in the Tenderloin of San Francisco. She co-authored four editions of the Private K-8 Schools of San Francisco and Marin and the Private High Schools of the San Francisco Bay Area books. She loves spending time with her family, golfing, skiing, gardening, and fly fishing.
Paula Molligan
Paula Molligan earned a BS in Elementary Education from University of Colorado, a MBA from Golden Gate University, and a MA in Special Education from San Francisco State University. Paula was a classroom teacher in the East Bay and Marin in both private and public sectors. She has also served as a middle school administrator and as the Head of a private school in Marin. She is a former member of the Bay Area Independent School Heads Association. Paula is an experienced learning specialist and worked over 12 years as a secondary school placement counselor and instructor for high school admission testing. She co-authored four editions of the Private K-8 Schools of San Francisco and Marin and the Private High Schools of the San Francisco Bay Area books.
